As Amazingly badass as this picture is, and don't get me wrong, this is amazing, it does overlook the wingspan to body mass ratio necessary for flight.

Well, we're considering creatures that can breath fire, ice, electricity, darkness, etc. and spontaneously mutate, so I don't think Pokemon function using real-world physics. Besides, poor Dragonite's wings are impossibly tiny and it can still fly.

This is utterly amazing. I am really impressed, and I wsh I could draw that well. I have a question. My friend--ShiningDrake--absolutely loves this piece of artwork, and Salamence is his all-time favourite Pokemon. And I never use anyone's art without permission. I've always thought the dragon Pokemon were the best (After Umbreon), but to be honest I never liked Salamence, mainly because of the silly wings, but you have remedied that problem and now Salamence is the coolest of them all.
