no he should just give into the fans and do the most popular pairing because that would mean KakaIru of course. *laughs* Do a poll! Cuz everyone knows the other Kakashi and Iruka pairings just can't win. Rin is dead and she's probably the only het pairing for Kakashi that has enough support to even come close.

Haha, well true, KakaIru is the most popular Naruto pairing in Japan (for Kakashi, that is)...
And no one knows if Rin really is dead - she never shows up, but no one ever said out clearly that she's dead.
As for Iruka... I doubt there's any known female in Naruto that he could be paired with - if Kishi pairs him with someone, its probably some random unknown girl...
Then again... Naruto isn't actually about "who pairs up with who", so I doubt Kishi will reveal their love interests other than the obvious (NaruHina, SakuSasu, ShikaIno/Tema)...

Actually we know for sure she's dead since his 'death' scene shows her as one of those he's going to join.
I hate Shikamaru's pairings so I hope he doesn't reveal that. *gags* Really the mommy replacement pairings he gives him just *shudders* Yuck. I like Temari just not with him and Ino I'd put with Chouji if she ever stopped being a shallow twit.

Well, I like Shikamaru/Temari, as for Ino... yeah, Chouji is a nice match-up for her, IMO. XD
And I reaaally really like Tsunade & Jiraiya, they're my favourite San-Nin pairing. X3
As for other pairings... I just can't think of any other pairs at the moment, to be honest. The most obvious ones are NaruHina & NaruSaku, and since I think Hinata is a pest and Sakura still loves Sasuke, I don't even really care for these, after all.

I love Temari but I can't get over her being like his mom. Ever since I made that connection the pairing lost all interest for me... He had to go and compare her to his mom and I'm like ew now.
I love Jiji and Tsu! They're probably my favorite het couple. I actually like Hinata because while she's a bit shy and girly she never does the 'eh I can't do anything I'm a girl...' that Sakura has a bad habit of doing... I mean I like Sakura a lot of the time but then she gets these stupid moments and I want to pound her head into the dirt.
My other favorite het pairings are IbikiAnko (though a lot of the stuff written for them is crap and makes them both into a one dimensional S&M pairing... which just annoys me), AsuKure, SaiSakura (IMO a way better pairing for her than Naruto or Sasuke), and MinKushina (though they're my favorite dead pairing)

I find it rather cute how annoyed Shikamaru gets around her, and how she's teasing him like he's a dumbass. XD
Jiji! lol now that's a nice nickname for Jiraiya-san. XD
As for Hinata... gahh I don't know! I think she was cute before Shippuden, but she just never changes her habits of getting all red and shy around Naruto - no character development at all!
... and her voice kinda ticks me off. 
Sakura... well, she's become pretty strong; a lot like Tsunade, which makes her absolutely adorable. Yet she has her weak moments - maybe it is annoying, but then again, could you recklessly kill the one you love?
I actually never liked Anko, though. She's too much of a creep in my opinion, and what makes it even worse, is that she's a huge Fangirl of Orochimaru...
And Ibiki... I... I don't know, he's too sadistic for me, I think. Plus, his love for kitten dolls just creeps me out. I have nightmares of him torturing others with Hello Kitty plushies, no joke. LOL
At first I thought SaiSakura is pretty weird - but it would actually work out surprisingly good, I think.
Then again, I have an undieing love for NaruSaku - just because I love seeing Naruto happy. :]
AsumaKurenai is one of my favourites, too - Kurenai is such a beautiful woman. ♥
But I never got the drill of MinatoKushina... it's cute and all, but Kushinas personality is just too less developed and explained in the Manga for me to get to like her enough. She's pretty and matches Minato really well, but still... instead of falling for a couple in which I can't figure out one of their personality, I'll just go with one of them and be certain about what I like about him / her. :]

I like their interaction I just don't see it as romantic.
I used Jiji back when I wrote Mission Iruka and it just stuck. I was looking for something that fit him and with it meaning old man and being a doubling of the first 2 letters of his name I thought it worked pretty well.
I like Hinata but stupid Kishimoto totally needs to develop the female characters more. It seriously pisses me off. I loved that everyone else is like 'oh just let Naruto handle it' and she goes to help.
If I was going to pick the best pairing for Naruto it would actually be Gaara especially after the last bit of interaction between the two.
Sakura irritates me because she just stands there helplessly and all of it AFTER she'd ditched the people trying so hard help her. She always ends up helpless.
I love Anko's creepiness. I like the filler episodes of Orochimaru and I wouldn't say she's a fangirl I think she has the same issue that Kakashi does with Sasuke and that the third does with Orochimaru being too close and having trouble not thinking about the good parts of the person. Like Sakura with Sasuke even.
I don't see Ibiki as Sadistic I think he plays that up but that's part of his job. I guess it helps that my friend Athame writes him exceptionally well. I LOVE how she writes him. She plays that sadistic bit at times but he's not so one dimensional as that and if you watch the episode with Idate he's really not. He's got a very sweet side.
I can't see Sakura ever feeling that way about Naruto though and I don't like how she treated him in the beginning... I really thought it was pretty fucked up.
I like Kushina and Minato because they contrast well. If you look at Minato's personality he's VERY different from Naruto so then add in Naruto's personality traits to Kushina and you can kind of get a feel for her and I just think it would work well.

Wow, Naruto/Gaara? I... I never saw the point of that pairing at all.
It's just that Naruto helps Gaara to become 'normal' and see the value of other persons, but I don't see any romantic point in all of that, really.
As for Hinata... well, maybe if she drops her dumb "oh I'm so shy blush blush" habit, then MAYBE I'll start liking her again. Till that day she just annoys me, really.
I've never been too interested in those involved with Orochimaru, to be honest, and Anko was one of them. (why did cute little Sasuke go to Orochimaru!! Damn fool, he could've been such a great Shinobi by now, especially with Kakashi as his teacher)
As for Ibiki... well, the only time I really recognize him being there is back in the Chuunin exams, and currently in the Pain arc when he's fighting against one of the Pains.
I guess the problem I have with Ibiki is about the same as with other characters that don't appear a lot - like Hayate, Genma or others.
Iruka is an exception - I loved him from episode 1 on, 'cause he's so sweet to Naruto. :]
As for Minato/Kushina...
Mhm, well yeah, that would really work out well. I still like Minato a lot more, especially as Team Kakashis Sensei, but Kushina with Naruto's personality traits would fit him very well.

I like it because of everyone Gaara actually understands Naruto. He gets how he thinks when no one else in the series seems to be able to. During the meeting with the Hokages he's the one who supports Naruto and tells naruto the truth about the situation. I like Gaara.
She only does that with Naruto and she did finally tell him she loves him so logically some of that should be resolved after this point but other stuff has been going on and well we'll see if Kishi mans up and actually confronts the issue he brought up. I like that she liked him before he was any good.
Anko's the only one I've liked but she's one of the few females who doesn't act like a tard in some way. Her, Kurenai, and Tsunade. All the other girls I do have at least one bitch about.
I personally hate Sasuke's logic and ever since he left I was like... okay lame he's clearly NOT a genius because that was retarded.
Ah well Ibiki and Anko are ones you have watch the fillers related to them to really get. Though I like minor characters because as a write I can play with them a bit more.
I loved Iruka actually mostly from his interaction with Kakashi... I thought he was alright before that.
Oh so do I. I LOVE Minato in general. He's a neat character and I love playing with what his affect on Kakashi has been and why.
