I like the path your were going down for this. I think the blood would have more of an affect if it seemed a little bit more deeper in the picture, and possibly a shadow casting off the tenticles to show a little depth. I really enjoy this picture, and love the tentacles. I would like to see a version of this with the Tentacles taking up less overall area, and either located coming out of the top left side or bottom left side.

looks very nice but the lines an blood dont all seam to match up some of them look out of place as with the lighting, just my opinion
