' natsu slowly opened his eyes and breathed in the scent of grass and the sweet scent of his friend. He looked around. It was allready noon. Lucy was curled up on his chest with her leggs wraped around his left leg. She was practically sleeping on him. The egg was near them lieing somewhere on the grass. He shook her gently to wake her up.
"lucy..hey... Lucy"
the blonde opened her eyes slightly "mm.. Natsu?" Before snuggling closer to him clenging onto his torso. This slight moovement woke up natsu to the point in wich he realised the position they were in and blushed madly. "L-lucy?!" In excange she just hummed a muffled mmm.
"l-lucy, the egg is getting cold. Let's take it home!" He said with a shaky voice still blushing.
she stood up and rubbed her eyes "n-natsu... I had a bad dream" she wispered. The boy got closer. 'Are you ok? What was it about?" She stood there for a minute just staring into the grass thinking of god knows what, then she turned around to face the boy, their faces only 1inch apart. She had tears in the corners of her eyes. "Just promise me you won't go near any fire lakes! O-ok?" Fire lakes? What was that all about? What is a fire lake, he thought but quickly dissmised it when he saw the sad look on her face. Then he did something he never thought he would do without his heart just exploding out of his chest and sweating ping pong balls while turning into a tomato. He kissed her forehead. "I promise" he said.
now let's pick some berryes and take the egg home! Ok?" He said giving her his signature careless grin.
"ok" she smiled forgeting allmost instantly about all of her worries.
and everything seemed to go back to normal.'
