First of let me just say that this is a gorgeous piece.
Now, I do agree that the omission of the gun would have been a good option, it seems a bit pointless in this picture. But the other critique said that there should be more "Definition" between the breasts, and I think that's they're wrong. The folds on the breasts are perfect, the problem lies in her right breast (her right, not the viewers). It would be at more of a side angle, and here you have it very flat. It gives the impression that's she's wearing a chest-binder shirt underneath her outfit. The nipple should be more farther from the viewer on that breast.
The front part of her belt/skirt thing is a little bit awkward to me as well. At the top, nearest to the skull belt, it looks a little bit "forced". I'm not sure how to describe it, maybe like you were trying a little too hard? The fabric there looks very stiff, not like fabric at all. Maybe if you'd left out a couple of folds there that would have helped.
Also; her knee is very "Wonky". It looks broken, actually. I'm really not even sure how to describe it but I almost think it looks like maybe your hand wobbled or something? If not, then I would definitely recommend looking up photos of knees and legs to study the knee a bit more because it's very strange in this picture.
Other than that I have to say; I love the piece, it's very well done. Great job C:

I definetly agree that my anatomy needs work and steadily I'm getting back to the point where I was back when I went to art school, when I was taking figure drawing classes and anatomy. I really am considering taking classes again and getting that repetition down. Also, fabric and the way it flows and folds with the body is really something I should be getting reference for! The gun could have been omitted. I think it draws attention away from the skull aproaching her face, which is the focal point of the piece. Your attention to detail is remarkable, but the quality of the detail needs improvement. For example; the burgundy portion of the art noveau-style in the background does not line up with itself.
Her chest also does not seem quite right with the given shading on it. There should be more definition between the two breasts perhaps.
All in all I like your work. You clearly have an above average talent that needs to be developed. I am not an artist in this medium, but I have been a patron and fan of this medium for a long time. Take my advice for what its worth and keep doing what you do!

Thanks for the critique! I do appreciate you taking the time to disect as it can only help me progress. I do agree with the gun she's holding and how it takes away from the centerpiece, that corner just looked so bare and pale while I was working the rest of the piece. I totally agree with you on getting my draftsmanship sharper. It has improved and I know for a fact it will only get better as I realize that eyeballing that sort of stuff isn't very professional looking. Please critique my other artwork and I'll keep posting!
