I've decided to start a series of conversion not unlike Pete the Wargamer 's series of Chaos cultists, only for the loyalists. The idea here is that these are auxilia troops or chapter homeworld PDFs, regular humans supporting these chapters outside of the Astra Militarum's structure. Starting off the series, we have the auxilia for the Dark Angels. I think that, given the opportunity to have regular humans under arms under their exclusive control, the Dark Angels would turn them to the task of fighting the Fallen, far from the prying eyes of the Administratum or other political organs of the Imperium. This informed my decision to equip this guy with a plasma gun: the Dark Angels' auxilia are Astartes hunters. I also wanted to give the auxilia the iconic Dark Angels robes and knightly armor. The arms and torso are from the Tempestus Scions kit, the backpack from the Dreamforge Eisenkern set, the legs from the Warhammer Fantasy flagellants kit, and the head from the Skitarii Rangers set.
