The world was dark...it was going to stay dark too for the poor stallions whose heart had been torn. News of Mav's 'accident' spread in the community but something about the tale greatly touched Miss Aurora. Giving MDS a call she offered the stable some aid when it came to their poor broken stallion. Having just purchased Blackie from them Aurora wanted to offer the stallion a temporary place to stay and have a 'vacation' of sorts from his trouble. He did have a past stable mate there to keep him company should he need it PLUS all the RMS horse. She already had several in mind she wanted to let Mav meet and interact with. On top of that, the stallion was blind now and she had a feeling he would need a little bit of work so he could handle his disability.

So with a hopeful heart she made the call and within a few days the stallion was on his way. His face was still wrapped with his red bandana as he was lead onto the trailer, tied on and given some warm 'good lucks' After that he was left to think in the dim light. He knew he was headed somewhere far from home, the air cooling and changing in smell as he climbed in elevation. He didn't know where he was going but figured it couldn't get much worse at this point.

The plight of MDS's Mav has reached the ears of RMS and we just KNEW we had to do something to help this poor guy out. So, for a little while, he's going to be staying with us to get some much love from his fellow horse and human. We don't want him thinking the world is completely cold and horrible.

Nooo we are not 'leasing' him or 'buying' him. We're just giving him a place to recover away from any bad memories at his home.
