I like this boy. Cupid's arrows traditionally make the target fall in love with the first person they see.
He neither took advantage by being the first person she saw, nor let Cupid manipulate her emotions towards anybody else.

Cupid's arrow makes you fall in love and all that jazz right? Well I'd rather be in full control of my faculties so I'd avoid getting hit by it. Rather than look a gift horse in the mouth though, I'd just casually step to the side so that it hits the gal instead. That way, when she turns around to see what's up, she sees me and the arrow's magic does its thing. Just like that, presto! Love is in the air.
