I do have to give Chrono credit (both the character and the game). It gave us a character that's still memorable to this day. Although, given that she was both gorgeous, strong and useful (I.e., so she was more then just there to look good), it's not hard to see why she's so memorable.
And terms of the character, he's a young guy, and has a babe like her in a place where it's warm and tropical (at least at first). She shows herself to to be ready, willing and able to have some fun with him (as long as he understands that Kino is her favourite and it would just be having a little fun). Yet, he never really seems tempted by her and seems willing to behave himself. Granted, she is a stranger and he's probably more interested in Marle or Lucca. He might also just be naive of course. I do admit though that he must have had a heck of a lot of self control not even consider giving into her even if just for one time. Then again, since he never spoke (other then in that one ending), it's hard to say what went on in his mind.

I'm thinking self control combined with the fact that on a physical scale she's nearly 3x to 5x times stronger than him.............
