Hello.
I do know that this is quite some time later, but I have found an Wiki statement talking about a Megaman Anime which I have never heard about, and it is using this picture for the Wiki, so whatβs up with that?
I can not find any information about this supposed βsequel to the ruby spearsβ and my only clue was to ask the creator of the picture.
So if anyone knows anything about it while reading this, it doesnβt matter if itβs 100 of years later, please just give me an answerΒ

I would LOVE to see this happen.
Granted sure they had Roll go heroic before in games like Mega Man Power Up and Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, but shoot, one game I want with Roll stealing the show.

I personally think the "Mega Roll" look would work better if she borrowed a few armor traits from ROLL.EXE. Right now, she looks more like a recolored Megaman clone with roll's head pasted on.
A simplified version of ROLL.EXE's armor for Mega Roll would probably work rather well. Although, I personally prefer Roll Woman. Or maybe some other name. I don't really like the names Mega Girl, Mega Woman, or Mega Roll. Maybe ask someone good at naming characters? Quake Woman's and Splash Woman's names are nice, I like those names. Hm...
Well, at any rate, here's to hoping that Archie will make a comic featuring a weaponized Roll, some day! I do think that pink and red is a good palette for Roll.

First, Midday-Mew, I made a picture that borrowed a few elements from Roll.EXE, specifically in the helmet. I also made a sprite sheet for it.

Second, Ryan, I absolutely love your work. I have one of your pictures (at least I think it's yours) as my desktop background right now. This version of "Mega Roll" is by far the best. Keeping it simple really is the best path here. I'd love to see you do an arc with Mega Roll.

I know this is an old comment, but I thought I'd mention that Roll was playable in Mega Man Powered Up (though you have to download her first).

A quick search on Amazon reveals you can get the game for $15 new ($10 used); the Powered Up / Maverick Hunter X combo is around $20.
As for the PSP itself (again only searching Amazon) it runs for $60 to $160 depending on the model.
(Incidentally, and amazingly given the game is 10 years old, as of the last time I checked a few months ago the in-game download function is still working!)

I was planning to get PlayStation TV, as I heard it played PSP titles. But from what I heard only limited titles. Maybe I'll just buy the PSP itself. Thanks for the info friend. X3
