Description Inspired/completely ripped off a beautiful video by Sigur Ros that I saw the other day that had a bunch of old people acting like kids playing 'knock knock ginger', throwing water balloons and riding on scooters etc. Woo.

Letraset Tria Markers on Bristol Board with 0.05 fine liner and brush pen and a small squirrel named Stuart.

I really love this. It's not the type of art one usually sees on dA.

Very imaginative and well-executed!

Awesome, I love it, and your clean style. I love when I see the use of traditional marker instead of all the digital stuff. you've got talent.

Thanks, yeah traditional media is good! I'm all aware that the majority of art these days doesn't actually 'exist' - there's no original copy, just a load of binary numbers translated to an image. Pretty much all of my professional work is like that unfortunately! Good to see the you use real media on your stuff too! You use some amazing colours!

you said it perfectly; traditional media just has a certain aliveness, and yes an original hard copy is important for existence purposes. ...and glad you took a look at my work, thnx!

cheers, yeah - the face is a little more rendered than the rest - I need more pen's!! (I have quite a few skin tones and then a egenric load of other colours, hence more shading in the face! )

Thanks for the link! That too is an interesting video - though it should come with a 'don't try this at home/Iceland/or anywhere else kids' disclaimer Listening to pretty music that builds a crescendo will NOT grant you the power of flight!!!!

yeah but as long as they close their eyes while they're falling, at least the illusion may be complete, to them.

until they become dead of course.
