I believe this should be the real Man of Steel movie poster. Hopefully, the movie will be just as good.

Thanks... It was just a spur of the moment, passing time project. I just wanted to keep it simple

I'm not too excited about this film... I've never really been too much of a Superman fan... just too much of a boy scout for me. And Superman Returns nearly ruined the franchise altogether... this one may redeem it, but they could have chosen better actors... I mean come on... Kevin Costner and Diane Lane as Jon and Martha Kent? Michael Shannon as Zod? Russell Crowe as Jor-El ... now that one just has me stumped as to how ANYONE thought such a craptastic actor as him could follow in Marlon Brando's footsteps.
Even though how they selected Henry Cavill makes me laugh, I think they went about it wrong. They auditioned actor after actor and accepted the first person that could don the tights Chris Reeves wore without making the crew laugh. I mean, come on! Isn't the ability to act important anymore? Obviously not, since Russell Crowe is in the damn movie. But... as with any other movie, only time will tell.
As for your poster, great job. May in fact prove to be better than the movie!

First, thanks for the
Now, I do agree with you about Superman Returns. I saw it, but there was nothing that stood out as memorable and there were some pretty slow parts. I would like to see Superman recreated to be a little more dark, and EVEN closer to a Nolan vision. I may slightly disagree on the casting choices. I think that Costner, Lane, and Crowe are all great actors, but I do not see how Crow could make a good Jor-El. I am not too sure how I feel about Cavill playing Superman at this point. Like you said, only time will tell.
I am VERY interested to see how Zack Snyder will see this one. I am a big fan of the creativity of 300, Watchmen, and Sucker Punch so I would imagine it to be a new flavor from what has been seen before.

Well, considering Nolan's producing, you'll prolly get to see some of his touches on the film. As for Snyder, I agree he's a great director, even tho Watchmen was almost too boring and Sucker Punch was too confusing. Cavill may have Superman's physique, but I'm not sure about his acting... I've not really seen him in alot. Crowe sucks, man. He's the pits. He over-acts in everything he's in and tries to steal the show and ends up ruining it. It's for this reason I strongly disagree with their choice for him to be Jor-El. Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent? No. Sorry, I don't see it. He's another George Clooney or John Wayne... the same damn person in every movie. Sorry, I don't think Robin Hood is Jonathan Kent... I could be wrong, but I doubt it. Diane Lane's by far the best choice of those we've mentioned so far, and it's still barking up the wrong tree, I think.
I would have to agree with my co-worker... After seeing Tom Welling as Clark Kent for 10 frikkin years AND watching him get along with Christopher Reeve, I think the world is ready for Tom Welling to don the blue tights in a major motion picture event. But, Hollywood ain't Burger King (you're way, right away) and disappointment is the main course for me so far with Snyder's version of the Man of Steel.
