cool idea.

my only suggestions are to try to keep the background a little less cluttered (as far as unnecessary lines. simplicity is key for a photo like this. maybe turn off all of the light sources besides the tv?

and the photo looks very desaturated. maybe convert it to greyscale?

it's what it's always been; a substitution for imagination.
(other then the discovery channel and stations like that)
so it depends on what your idea of "good" is. aha!
i'm getting sick of it, personally. it's a hard habit to break though. : /

_needs to get a job really really badly.
_needs to set priorities straight
_needs to spend more time on the piano
_needs to spend more time with camera
_needs to spend more time on homework
_and finally, again, needs to get a job really really badly.

my life has been pretty pathetic lately. ><;

a job is going to make you spend less time on all of those items.

aha! i'm very far, very very far, from being better than you.
you don't want -any- television? at all? i'm impressed and really jealous.

the last thing i voluntarily watched on tv was the opening ceremony for the olympics, and before that... i don't remember. it'd been at least a month before that.

and even if you think i'm better than you, GOOD photos are better than no photos at all.
like brad.

wow. what do you do in your spare time while all us other teenagers are watching the old mind-melter? XD.

yah really, why haven't you been uploading? it's been a while!

i...sit on the computer or play piano. or both at the same time.
LOL
i read too.
but mostly when i read it's on the computer.
...LOL again

and i haven't really had much inspiration or anything.
i've been meaning to go interesting places with interesting people but every time i do someone can't go and blablabh.
i should probably read a book about photography or something. that usually helps people get inspired, as the crappiest professional photographer in fredericton says.
we'll see. XD

RyanTheriault In reply to brad-macd [2010-02-27 03:12:33 +0000 UTC]

aha! well atleast you keep busy with productive things. i really should try it.
i spend too much time on the boob-tube, it influences a lot and i'm not a fan.
(hence the picture.^ XD)

as soon as you lose your inspiration i gain more than i've ever had. aha.
the thing that hit me was going downtown to do some photography. almost all of
my photos are taken in or around my house and it was getting really stale; the change was
really really nice.
but yah, get reading! the almighty brad-macd isn't allowed to have dry spells. >D

i had a really bad dry spell last february too and i thought it was because of my brother's car accident. maybe it's just the time of year.
and YEAH!
all my pictures are starting to get really stale around my house, too.
i'm trying to find something interesting to take pictures of here but it's not working. XD

-gets old photography book manual thing out-

it could just be winter? unless you're one of those people who love winter with every fiber of your being.
i love snow, but the cold and grey get really tiresome. i want genuine sunlight for once. and grass. aha.
yah, same here. i'm trying to find old objects that have meaning to my parents, like memories, but nothing seems to
be around. there are a few books and an old wooden.. thing, but it's just not gonna cut it. XD

i should really get some books on photography. i should really get some books in general
and take that damn television out of my room. XD

"aha, this television might be, but it doesn't work!
i picked this one up for like, 7$ at Value Village.
i mean taking out THE other, working television. or just unhook the cable and use it for movies. hmm. "
b = edit.
LOL. to summerize: television in picture does not work and was purchased for 7$ at Value Village
i want to take out the other, working, television/unhook the the cable cord and just use it for movies and not actual television shows.
i hope that makes sense. XD

yah! i'm leaving sunday, coming back on friday. i'm excited!
(picture opportunities ftw)

but the television is photogenic.
nothing here is photogenic.
everything here was probably made/built after 2000.
ffff.

i wish i could wake up and choose what season it would be for the day.
