Description
Yesterday I had my wisdom teeth removed! Months ago I noticed extreme pain in my back teeth, including pressure and nerve pain. I deducted that the problem was one of my wisdom teeth were impacted. I called my original dentist only to be told he retired but he recommended me to another. That dentist took x-rays of my teeth and told me one of my wisdom teeth was impacted, so she sent my x-rays to a facial surgeon. I went to the facial surgeon who took more x-rays and said all four of my wisdom teeth were not in good shape. One was REALLY bad, one was getting bad, and the other two would get bad over time. I decided to have all four removed all at once.
Finally, the day came. June 29th, my sister took me to the facial surgery. They put a mask on my nose to help me relax, and then they stuck a needle in my arm (which surprisingly felt like NOTHING!) and after that I decided to rest my eyes a but, and what felt like only a FEW SECONDS they told me they were done! My mouth tasted like blood and I felt groggy. My sister guided me to her car and we drive back home.
Well, there you go, after 32 years of having wisdom teeth, they are finally gone! Sort of, they're in a little bag on my dresser.
