This is an old painting I did way back in 1990 while in high school. It took an honorable mention at the Utah state art show. This is a touched up photo of the painting. It's Oil on canvas. Completed in 1990.Related content

A superb piece! The planes and angles of the face are rendered masterfully and the composition is such that even though she's looking away from the viewer, one gets inevitably drawn to her face all the same. I love it. ^_^

how do you paint a face? i thought drawing with pencil and charcoal was hard how do you do it with paint?
