Another one of my up close favorites. Such a gorgeous bloom.I am 99% sure the is a Camellia called Purple Dawn. almostedenplants.com/shopping/…
If you look at the edges of the petals, they do change to a lovely shade of purple.
Taken with an iphone5, cropping of extra space performed. (2-17-17)

From what I looked up, I think it's a Camellia, specifically a Purple Dawn.
