Description I'm really that desperate with the 3G in my student room. Seriously, moving 20cm sometimes cuts a call...
I really don't know where that "Trust me, I'm an engineer" thing comes from, but after making this I had to post that pic.
But well, I've to admit... that it actually works. I can't be sure since it's hard to measure, but it's the first time I reach 3 bars of 3G in this room. I have to make further tests and positioning to confirm.

Barely, I guess the exact positioning of those has to be carefully chosen. But seems like it affects a bit ^^

Impossible isn't French, like we say ^^
Though the concept is simple : refraction. Aluminium reflects radio waves, so if those cans are well placed it works.
