She probably collected just enough to create an Amulet, or maybe (I really don't know how to call 'that') an horn-cover-thing for unicorn.
Both of which emplify magical energies, by having said 'magic' reverberating inside the unique molecular structure of the starmetal, and increasing it 10folds !

...but, I guess if she finds more starmetal she could mix it with another metal, in order to have enough alloy for a set of Mage Armor.

Sorry I thought you were referencing Order of the Stick. Replace the word Artifact with Sword and it's what the blacksmith who rebuilt Roy's sword said.
