This is definitely my favorite work from your gallery. Not only is it technically wonderful, but the emotions conveyed are really powerful. Frankly, out of all of the paintings I've seen on deviantArt, this is one of the best in my opinion. In some ways I wish that the faces and other figures around the former soldier were much more faint. I think the expression in his face alone is all that is needed to tell his story. Very very nice.
