How do you make light so vibrant in contrast to the rest of the picture? I have tried and failed to even come close to capturing the intensity you seem to be able to give to these pictures.
I can see how you make the bright colors stand out, but how do you get it to maintain that glow effect? Is it an airbrush effect around the outside of the main light source?
I saw in your tutorial how you mess with contrasts and hue, and is that also another way that you do it?

Did you do most of the picture in SAI and then do color and placement editing in Photoshop? I was looking in to SAI since Photoshop doesn't quite fulfill my illustrative needs. Just wondering how you broke it up.
