I love this more than I can describe, and I'm a novelist.Β Anyway, if you ever find yourself in Vietnam, go to Hoi An and paint the lanterns there. I can't tell you how gorgeous it is. It's not just the lanterns. It's the sense of wonder. However, if you're going to go, DO NOT GO DURING SUMMER. I've been there in winter, and there was not one day that was not shorts weather.

You definitely need to work on your perspective. You've got your coloring down but the sense of depth is atrocious. It would really bring your work up a sizeable notch with a little bit more effort!

Beautiful, but......Brr..... I used to live in Β place that would get snow storms like that. It was a wonder to look at, but if you were out and about I would hope you were dressed up warm. Β The wind in eastern Montana could get really rough.

This could be a scene from the older parts of any city, really, so I'm seeing it as a winter's scene near where I live. It's beautiful, evokes memories of times gone by when the city hadn't been touch by urban rot yet ... these days, the snow hides the rot .. and sometimes can make the city feel like this painting ... beautiful.

Your works have been particularly incredible lately, in my humble opinion. Great job!
What I like the most about them is that you use the colors and impressionistic lines in such a way that if I stare at the picture squinting, from a distance away, I can see it like its a real place where I really am; all the light leaks and reflections become lifelike. There seems to be either alot of precision or alot of instinct in the place where every line and color is located.
