This is actually awesomely well done, Ryno! I've done a few pics of creatures from the Brood, but nothing as detailed as this as yet. The Brood is ruled over by a shape-changing god, who is in rebellion against Heaven, Hell, and the Pagan Demesnes. One of his warrior creatures is called a kitten, though it's about the size of a rhinoceros. The adults are army killers and have few enemies. Aside from the ruler of the Brood, the most dangerous creatures of all are called Black Hunter Kings. They were designed and empowered to hunt down and devour fallen angels and lesser godlings.

Thanks so much! I'm not familiar with "the Brood" but this was done purely out of my imagination for a school project a million years ago in 2007. Although based off what you described this brood may be worth looking into.

Don't worry, Ryno, I was not thinking you copied this from anything. Your deformed zombie things have a uniqueness about them that I've never seen before, and your style, though quite flexible, is consistent. I'll see if I can find some story text and put it in notes, so you can read it for yourself. Then, the art can be uploaded, if you're interested.
And what's a WIP? Work In Progress? I'll be glad to check in on it and let you know what I think....

Thanks! And yes WIP is work in progress. Once I got in the animation industry people started using WIP on scenes that weren't finished but they needed direction. I sort of started using it for illustrations that I'm still working on and haven't abandoned. I have a bad habit of not finishing things and if a WIP is tacked onto a drawing I know I've got to get back to it.

Thank you! Yeah I keep wanting to come back and revisit this idea even though the last time I touched it was 4 years ago in school. Nothing like mutant zombie prehistoric beasts to give your viewers nightmares. haha
