Beautiful, I love that emerald green you used for the inside of the wave, it really gives it depth

That one went extremely fast, it's a bit less than an hour.
This doesn't count the studies of water effects and sea weather I did before starting the painting itself.

I like the doomy and muddy colours about this piece. The hard brush you used underlines this uncomfortable weather perfectly.
The diagonal lines created by the horizon, clouds and the waves create a very dynamic image. The storm seems vivid.
But I think you could have used decreasing diagonal lines rather than increasing ones to make the storm more threatening.

Hmmm... yeah, the storm would have look a lot better with a bigger waves in the distance, bringing the boat to us. Here they're just braving a wavy sea
