These are fantastic. The designs remind me of the really bizarre-ly OLD Mario and Luigi from that old live-action show. "Shake yo' hips... from side-to-side! Come on, it's time to go-- do da Mario!"

My kids were watching it recently, and I was really astounded at how transcendantly awful the scripts and acting were. They used EVERY SINGLE old joke in the "Book of Old Jokes".You never really understand what "cheesy" means when you're little... Those dudes gave it all they had, though!
And it STILL manages to be way more fun than the Bob Hoskins movie! Ouch!

Hahahaha! Ouch indeed! That movie was such a disappointment to me as kid. The promise of a Mario movie seemed so amazing. Then... shattered dreams. Maybe I won't go back and watch the show now. lol
