This is another drawing that started from a WiP Status post, this time from 11/12/2018.

This is Inti Suryan~ A Fireborn Vulpine (Fire Fox) Disciple of Solair, the god of the Sun.

Naturally, from another DnD campaign. She was created out of a desire to play a character that followed a god form Solair's (also the nickname of my close friend, and best DM) campaigns.

As you can tell from the original WiP, I first decided to start with some over the top dramatic pose, and it really just wasn't working. Mostly because when I started it, even though I knew the pose I wanted, I really hadn't figured out exactly what she was supposed to look like. (Which is, you know, kind of important.)

So, I went back not long after and drafted a simple standing pose so I could hash out her character design. Then promptly didn't touch it for over a year. (This is how I do.)

Finally came back to it a year later on 11/24/2019 and figured out what I wanted out of her. Big pointed ears, a lot of unkempt, curly fluff that resembled flames, found an outfit that worked, and discovered just how tedious drawing Solair's symbol is in an awkward spear.

I'm actually entirely pleased with this. Except that I completely screwed up the straightness of the shaft of the spear. (You had ONE JOB!)
