Description
Christine and Fryevia from Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. To be honest, this drawing was an experiment to test different lining and colouring techniques I've seen from pros (books + videos), but I was so glad with the result that I've decided to finish it

Ah Christine and Fryevia. Lovely ladies here~ Really wish I had pulled Christine way back when, using her with my TT for 3* Ifrit REALLY showed me just how really strong she is! I still haven't used my Fryevia since the day I got her, and she was like...my 2nd or so rainbow. Poor girl... : <

But yeah, the TT+Christine duo is pretty devasting, and should trivialize lots of future trials - many of them feature high DEF, low SPR, making their damage skyrocket.

Is it though? You got some of the better units that I can't even seem to snag, so : V. The most recent rainbow I got was Emperor Shera, which was yesterday (Pyro Glacial Lasswell was not too long ago too. Though wish it were units I actually want...like Sakura, Fina, or Ayaka...). T-T
Depends on the trials I suppose. I don't think they'd be good enough to tackle Malboro, now would they??? Or maybe they would. Hmm... *Ponders*
How fares ye with Exvius anyways? Anything good with pulls lately and whatnot? I myself have only Malboro and the true Chamber of Arms bosses to tackle, and that's all that's left for me until new stuff comes out (that White Dragon shouldn't be very hard to take down at all methinks). Chow been making a lot of things very possible for me to do.

Malboro? It just melts against the Trance Terra / Christine duo. That is how I've managed to kill it (the smaller Malboros can be killed in two rounds each). Whales can just killt them every turn:

If you're talking about the JP version of Malboro, you'll need both physical and magical damage dealers (it gets considerable harder if you just bring one or another).
My pulls haven't been doing so well, but truth to be told, I haven't been pulling much. Gotta save for future banners

Well, thanks to a buddy who had a TT with Plant Killer+, I was able to take down that jerk Malboro on my main account! Except...I have to redo it to get the LB kill because herp didn't realize my Cagnazzo was blind and he missed with his LB when it should've hit for the kill. RIP me...at least I still got everything else done? Not like the fight's super hard, and with the new DQ event and its stuff (Ribbon!!!), that'll make doing the fight even easier. It...might also help for me to bring along Jade Moon Pendant too to not worry about having to cure statuses all the time. But that over Rikku's Pouch for Eiko? I...guess I could also just toss it onto my Chow...

Another options is to switch Chow to Mystea. Although she's less durable, her skillset includes immunity to every status to your whole party, which you may need. Her LB, if leveled, can dramatically reduce the damage you take.

Yeah, I thought of doing that, but Chow's own Reraise ability has saved my butt more times than I can count too, since my only source of Reraise is...Divine Soleil, whom doesn't have a spot on my current team, Meliadoul, and...Vanille. Yeeeeeeah. Though if I just bring Jade Moon Pendant for the same effect for 2 turns. Just have to be wary of when Bad Breath is going to show up, then throw it up then. I honestly don't even have to heal too terribly much in this fight outside of Cag or when Cag gets Devoured.

Yeah, I got a few in a row, but that was after a drought of not getting ANYTHING in terms of rainbows (it all started with Yuna too I think. Or was Yuna after Lasswell? I forget...). I wish I had a better physical DPS than Agrias though, lemme tell you. I'm trying to use Fryevia, but I'm not sure if I can make her very good (going with a Doublehand route with her, but don't have her Duelist Pose passive leveled up at all sadly...nor do I have things like Elfreeda or Cloud...T-T).
Ah, maybe I can just go with that then instead of the double Trance Terra route if they're that good. Maybe I'll give that a shot tomorrow, hmm...though need to get a good strat and setup going for Elnath and Sheratan. THAT is the true challenge (don't have a maxed Chloe or Ozetta, and I could use them for Sheratan for sure).
Never even seen Malboro Queen fight (only play ENG version myself), so I have NO idea how different that is from Great Malboro fight (though I know Great Malboro is also in that fight, ew).

Though obviously been playing ENG too since you have ENG exclusive units and an ENG account. : V Maybe I should ask you for more advice for the game at some point heh (forgot who I was trying to TMR farm on main account. I know Crowe and Leon were a couple that I was doing, as well as Olive. Will be going with Rasler next after I get next TMR since I need that HP/DEF boost for my physical tank I think).

If Agrias is your best DPS, then you really need a new one. It's not a problem for most trials, as you can bring friends tochain with her, but it's a problem for the Chamber of Arms. Future good DPS include Sephiroth and Hyoh, though God knos how the GL version of the game will unfold...
Most Fryevias I've seen use Dual Wield, plus lots of "Letter and Arms" to increase her MAG by wilding her sword. Either that or materias that increase both ATK and MAG (e.g., Power of Creation). She's mostly a chainer, so I don't think Doublehand is a good option for her right now.
2xTrance Terra is a good option against Malboro. Most clears usually include a magic cover tank with 100% dark resistance (you have Chow for that) and a provoke tank to eat the ST attacks. Then, a healer, 2x damage dealers and a support of choice (Soleil is a popular one).
Yes, I play mostly JP, but I do play both versions - mostly because of the exclusives. For defensive TMR, your choices are pretty solid. If you have any doubts, feel free to ask me.

Yeah, I haven't had much luck with a good physical unit. I have Olive and Fryevia, but Olive isn't exactly going to help if I don't have good chainers, and same with Fryevia whom I may need better stuff with. I only have one Letter and Arms to use, which can go to her (Ashe has it right now in the 10-Man). I'd like to get Sephiroth though, and I heard Hyoh is really fawking dumb lol. Don't even know when he'll show up either...
Hmmmm...though will she even help with 10-Mans right now? Especially considering the two Trials that are left?
Ah Soleil. Sadly, mine isn't enhanced at all, so I have to deal with using Ramza. I hear Christine isn't AS useful because the little Malboros have resists.
I could probably farm another Ingus, but don't want to stick him in a TMR party so I just fuse any Ingus' with Ingus.

After enhancements, Fryevia's Frost Flower Blitz can chain with Orlandu's (and Agrias' enhanced) Divine Ruination, so she should be a much better asset on 10-man trials now.
Hoyh is just broken. Huge attack, triple casting, great chaining capabilities, can finish his own chain... he's on another level with his 7* awakening.
Ramza works too, with the added benefit of HP/MP regen. And while resistance may be a bother, most Christines use Malboro Whip as rod, which gives killer abilities against plants and devils, which fits Malboro perfectly.Β

Sadly I don't have enough to get her +2 on either account hue. I at least got her Ice Resist passive thing to max. >_<
Oh boy, 7*. Can't wait to see how much more difficult THAT makes content! I've seen some of the later 10-Mans, like the Clock guy, Welter, and the Sword guy, and...yeah. Those guys are just duuuuuumb. Omega's gonna be dumb too I feel. Speaking of JP stuff, have you seen what's going to be coming next?
Oh yeah, I need to get Plant Killer+ for my TT before fighting Malboro too. Or I could try without it and see how it goes, I think I COULD potentially handle it with my party (Chow for the tanking, Cagnazzo for the physical tanking, TT + friend for damage, Eiko for heals, and Ramza for heals and stat boosts). Should be fine. Maybe.
By the by, I love how much bait that 5* 10% ticket was. I used it and got...a Rakshasa. Such a great usage of that it was (but then immediately afterwards I got Yuna from a normal ticket so eh!). Can't wait to get that Metal Slime for the TMR though, that'll be amazing to have!

Trials have been getting harder, but it's actually doable to do most of them with a mostly 6* team (that is how I managed them). Omegais probably the hardest of them all, and it can be cheesed (unless GL "fix" that).
Plant Killer+ definitely helps. As long you can kill the mini Malboros consistently within 2 or 3 turns, it should be good enough. Unit-wise, your team should be capable of facing it. Some people have cleared with way less than that:

The secret is to defeat the mini Malboros every 4 turns (3 after Malboro's HP goes less than 50%), so it doesn't use it's most devsating attacks on those turns.
And well... a 10% 5* ticket can be thought as a 90% 3/4* ticket.

My problem is the crysts. Gil I'm ok on for the time being, but I lack a loooot of crysts to awaken abilities. T-T
Well, I would certainly hope so lol. It'd be weird if they didn't to keep up with content. Good to hear that 6* units are still viable even this late in the game's life. I'm curious how Omega can be cheesed. I remember seeing someone doing it using Hide a lot, which took like 500+ turns to do.
Rosa and Shantotto, interesting choices there, though Shan is probably for Tornado chain. I remember using that trick against Moose, because fawk Moose lol.

6* are viable (particularly, support units), but you'll probably need some 7* to clear some of them. More specifically, Malboro (JP) and Omega are clearly tuned for a 7* team, though you can make do some 6*. Tanks (to take the big hits) and DPS are particularly needed for their HP/ATK. Omega cheese is exploited by using a hide ability to skip turns that are lethal and attack on safe turns.
Shantotto is an option against Malboro to chain Tornado with a friend's Barbariccia's Tornado + Aeroja to finish the chain. More options here:

I didn't manage to pull Christine on that time, instead I got Kryla. Still I have Fryevia and she was my first rainbow after 4 months of unable to get rainbows ever since I start playing last year.
