i had a dream~ in it was a girl. she was quite young, about five or six years old with long dark hair and curls at the ends. and in the dream she was standing on a column. the column was a simple one... but it was in the clouds. completly surrounded on all sides~ she could feel that maybe there was some sort of land or precipice that she could jump too; but at the same time she couldn't see it. she thought about climbing down the column but then realized that was just silly. so she was vexed.... sit and stay where she knows there is solid ground~ or take the leap... hence the title~faith

It reminds me of that one level in "Super mario bros 2" where you go against Mouser (I think) but gotta climb up a loudy place with beanstalks and pillars.Albeit a more serious take on maybe similar scenery.

This is really inspiring! There's no image like those brought to us in dreams. They speak from the spirit to the spirit - almost like telepathy. I'll show this at church during worship, with the story about the dream. We'll also be reading and meditating on Hebrews 11:1 &2, "Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for." Of course, the credit will be given.

This speaks to me at such a deep level. Havinbg spent the last year caring for and living with my Grandmother until her death at 97 on May 20 this year AND going through with a divorce from the man I hoped to spend the rest of my life with (divorce is final in two weeks) I find I'm at a place where I, too, must take a leap of faith. This will become my background so that i may be reminded and inspired!
