I'm working on individual pieces for each major character in my next book in the Complicated saga, Vindicated.Here we have Pan Son, aged 21. She's been traveling Europe for a year trying to find her true desires in life, but she can't help the urge to return to West City, Japan. A certain boy just won't get out of her head, no matter how hard she tries.

Pan looks downwards from the building while thinking about her tour in Iraq from 2007-2011 where her branch was the U.S Army 121st Airbourne Division. There she stood out in the deserts wearing her digital camouflage ACU with a light infantry helmet, holding her strapped MP5K and her holstered Browning Hi Power Semi Auto pistol. Now her mind flashes back to November 2011 where she is currently smoking her cigarette. She glances at her side arm as she takes it, now disassembling and reassembling the firearm repeatedly for a good ten minutes until she decides to get back in her hotel room.
