I finally broke through my artists block and came up with this. I got my new Axl figure in from Amazon last Sunday, so now I have a fun drawing reference. ^_^This one took FOREVER to color, but I was really happy with the end result. I deperately need to learn how to do backgrounds though, because right now I ultimately suck at them. >_>;;

Can you imagine what sick kinda helmet hair Axl has going on underneath that? That's the first thought that sprung into mind when I saw this pic.
I like the coloring--it looks almost dreamlike, even if the BG is simple. The only thing that I'd consider looking into is Axl's stomach--guys' stomachs don't generall cave in like that, even if they're skinny. it's either flat, ripply (six-packs!), or bulging-because-of-fatty-things. (They call that having a whole keg. Mmmm, keg.)

Nice colors. The figure looks a bit wround though. I can say what is with it, but something makes it look a bit too roundish.

That background is not soooo crappy.. just simplistic. And since Axl doesnΒ΄t do anything else than standing around, a simplistic background is just perfect

G'Lord! Ryo! This is soooo good! The sparkles on the armor look almost celestial. I love the pose and the colors, very very good! The bg is a little simple, but the colors are complimentary, so it works just fine
