I don't think I've ever put up on one of my cosplays here before. So Harpuia is probably a fun place to start. I'm sure 'bout everyone knows by now how Rockman-cosplay crazy I am. Like, I try and do at least one or two new outfits every year, all from Rockman. This year debuted one of my biggest costumes yet, Harpuia from Rockman Zero. This outfit version is from the official art seen in the Rockman Zero 4 OST booklet. I will be joining cosplayers for Fefnir, Phantom and Leviathan at Otakon next month! Ahh I'm so excited.Anywho. I haven't made the swords yet (or rather I've TRIED and nothing has worked quite so well so far). But they will be coming, hopefully in time for Otakon, since everyone else is making their weapons too.
I love that helmet.

A little late for this, but what I did for my HX swords was that I used your technique of using foam board, masking tape, and paper mache for the blades and it worked. Here's a pic of it. In the handle I used a wood rod and bits of foam board and air-dry clay for the end and used some wood in the core of the sword, but unfortunately that made it only heavy at the handle. (Unless that makes sense seeing as it's supposed to be energy.)

AWwww we wanted to do the coat-versions as well someday, but as I know us that'll never happen XDD (In the end I'd have to make all of them -_-

Where were you on Sunday?I wanted to get some last day piccies,but could only find Maqqy at the Art Room packing up and DeadlySerenade walking by the autograph panel line as Kai.
