it's been so long i don't even remember. i don't think it was wet on wet. i'm not sure how i did this. i just sat infront of the pear and painted what i saw. hehe.
it was a lot of layering, but since it was pigment heavy and not very watered down, it dried really fast.

heh my only tips are:
1) the standard: practice practice practice
2) good materials are fairly important. 140lb paper equals pretty scary paintings. get heavier paper
