My other cosplay i've been working on. This one's only 95% finished for two reasons. 1) The hair is a work in progress. I found out while styling it that the top layer is still a little too long to do the flip out. But I will get it right eventually! (Says the girl crazy enough to give herself a haircut.)
And 2) I've yet to find some orange socks! Don't ask me why but they seem to be hard to find. But When i find them, it will be complete! And when that happens, i'll probably take some more pictures. Olette was not one of my original cosplay plans, but i'm super happy with the way this turned out! I have found my inner cosplay self!

Im planning to make an Olette cosplay myself but ive been wonder how you did the shirts neck hole and the arm hole? Like with the black and white part. Ahh, im sorry im bad at explaning what im asking help for ^^"

I know what you're talking about. The white part is this inch thick liner I got at Walmart. (not even sure what it's called) Basically it's a really long piece of fabric that won't fray when you sew it on. The black part is actually the bottom of a black T-Shirt. I just sewed it into the sleeve.

Folded it in half over the edges and sewed it with a sewing machine.

I guessed that i should do that but the sewing tape that i bought is .75 inches =-=
Someone i've been speaking to who has made a olette cosplay as well mentioned that getting double fold tape will work. Is that true?

I really don't know. I've never used tape on any of my cosplays because I like to know they will stay together if I put them in the washing machine.

Binding tape is pretty good material XD sewing them on is pretty much the way to go

I'm so jealous. How the cow do people make their own costumes? I've ALWAYS had to purchase any kind of costume. One of my friends gives me crap for buying my own costume, she's always putting me down for it.
