Master Hóngmù is bisexual. This is something he discovered years later, thanks to Ak-tu. He helped Ak-tu when their martial arts school found out that Ak-tu was gay, but it wasn't until after Ak-tu left that he considered he might be attracted to men himself. He later accepted that he is on the bisexual side, finding attraction to male and female people (where he lives, nonbinary and intersex people aren't really seen). He is also fluid sex, being a spirit, but he made his body male.
