It's probably because people know fanfiction characters and stories better, while original fiction doesn't get noted much. :\
Same with just art in general; fanart is recognized more, while original art.. not so much. e_e

Yeah, that's true. But my other fics haven't got that much attention o.o It's funny, though. Especially because the other fandoms which I have written are pretty much better known than Soul Eater here in Finland.
Seriously, I'm gonna believe that the more random my writing is, the more popular it will get XD I wrote a while ago random original short story "Sielusi on sairas" ("Your soul is sick") just because I wanted to kill time. I didn't planned it at all, I just... wrote. And somehow it's now my most popular original story o___o
