- Zeldan: son of Headmistress Gaepora, Zeldan is sweet and likable, if occasionally prone to fits of recklessness - especially around his best friend Lina. He has a few admirers - Lina and Groose amongst them - but seems to only really notice his BFF. When Groose attempts to push Lina around, he stands up for her whenever he can, despite being physically smaller.

- Lina: Skyloft's sleepiest student! She enjoys her sleep, spending time with Zeldan, and whitling and carving wood in her spare time. She also has a seemingly innate bond with her rare Crimson Loftwing, and she's rarely seen away from her favourite human. Despite looking rather sleepy and slow, she's actually a keen swordswoman.

- Groose: a bully, unfortunately, although it is versed in insecurity - pushed around herself for being overweight when she was younger, she took to physically bettering herself when she hit her early teens. She has a major crush on Zeldan and is not fond of Lina as a result, seeing her as competition.

- Pippi: Duty FTW! Pippi is an enthusiastic senior student who takes her role as a knight-in-training extremely seriously, going so far as to giving other students pep talks (especially Lina, who she views as a protege) and taking nightly patrols. Part of the patrols, however, are due to her stressful homelife - having to deal with an irresponsible, lazy, messy father and being the sole person in the household to actually attempt to earn money.
