Description
This is my own interpretation of Yig, a snake entity akin to Quetzalcoatl and Kukulcan, however rather than a benevolent one, Yig is capricious yet aggressive, especially in terms of protecting his children: the snakes. Yig was rarely malicious, but would enter a feeding frenzy in Autumn which led to the Pawnee, Wichita, and Caddo of Oklahoma to drum constantly from August to October which serves as a warding ritual against Yig, afterwards the Wichita would provide offerings to appease him. He is also the mate to The Serpent Skirted One .

My design was heavily inspired by the Pyro Vipers from Ninjago, with a hood inspired by Nozuki/Warbat's (MonsterVerse), the hood's ends were inspired by Quetzalcoatl's head feathers, especially his snake form (Legend Quest) and a color scheme based on Jetray (Ben 10).
