I did promise this dude I would bring out something that would surprise the guy.If there ever was a character my heroes would fight,it would have to be someone as messed up as Frijhid from the Aladdin cartoon. BUT since he was too simple in his design,why not go all out and make him a warlord who isolated himself after losing a war,never to fight again until heroes inspired him to start a new ice age?!!
Freezerburn's simple design makes him a perfect vessel for my Obari-style drawings. Nuff said I suppose. Oh and another thing,since I don't have enough lighter blue hues and colors for my pens,I went back to my paints and wow,they still work! Shoulda stuck to them I suppose.

Freezerburn? That was unexpected. I thought for sure you'd spring for Dr. Pluto or MARK...but seeing the iceman him rise from the ashes is VERY impressive.
I love this guy's design. Instead of being a literal ice-man, now he looks like he's covered in armor...which makes sense if he doesn't want to chip away. You also gave him a good sense of menace, which my guy didn't have much of (Even though he impaled Afterburner in the unreleased Project SIX #0...dammit, now I wish my computer didn't die on me and take the scans with it!).
I'd love to see this guy appear in an OVA voiced by Ward Perry Dr. Wheelo voice.

The thing about people who are ice-based is that you HAVE to make them cool...pun not entirely intended. XD Mr Freeze,Cap'n Cold and even Psycho Blue's monster form from Power Rangers In Space are examples.

It's a shame I never got to flesh him out. My plan was to start him out as a basic guy with ice powers...then he returns with a larger physique and a beard of ice.
Also, I just noticed how he kind of has...a flesh tone? So he's still human under all that heavy ice armor? Awesome.
