How he meet AW Ryuga, possibly one of the monsters attacks Ryuga and Kazuki happens to come by and beats the monster. However Ryuga is about to be attacked but uses his mirror to deflect and thats how he discovers his Buso Renkin.

I already planned on ryuga being an alchemist warrior by the time he meets kazuki, but that does sound exactly like something kazuki would do
