Description
My first concentration piece, hopefully it came out well because I had to merge two pictures together. The quality of the image isn't too great, so I'll be uploading a new one sometime soon.Media used- Watercolor, Pen, Prismas, Ink

the color choice is grand. I like the balance of cool and warm colors. Makes the eye wander. The only thing i would suggest is making sure the upper lip is darker than the bottom. Rarely is that ever not the case. I dont miss doing a concentration. I was in A.P. last year and it proved futile when applying to colleges. They just kind of brushed it off.

yeah, i had A.P. last year too, but instead of the drawing course, i took 2D. Pratt institute looked into me because i took AP last year, so i guess it proved beneficial. but either way, you grow very much artistically in this course.

Yeah i did advance quite a bit. I applied and got into pratt last year... But Parsons and Otis didnt seem to care. And all my friends who applied to various schools... said the same thing. Im gonna go to Otis though. Pratt and Parsons are far too expensive. Where are you looking into?

well i'm looking into ringling college of art and design, but i'm not too sure about going to art college period. its close by to where i live, about 2.5 hours away but its about 40k a semester

Yeah... Art Schools are dumb expensive. A lot of hype to them. I plan on only going a few years and not getting my bachelors.

I like the small details on the left hand corner and the choice of colors

Cool choice on the focus; it's like someone was raising a camera and pressed the button before they were ready.
It's funny; normally one would associate the face with portraying most of the emotion about a piece, but you get a really good feel from it without any input from a pair of eyes. It's very cool, I love it

my concentration is about openings to other worlds, like taking an article of clothing and taking one part of it as an opening to somewhere else, over here in this picture its a garden.. (its still not done
