I remember a time, back when I was little, that I thought that the world would stay the same. That nothing changed, that grandma and grandpa would be around forever, to play and laugh with.Over the years we began to change, yet you still continued to love us, even as we began to drift apart. The visits slowly stopped, our new lives of wonder and teenagerdom took over.
Now, as I sit here, trying to figure out just when that started...I remember with a sad smile, all the sumer afternoons, lazing in the grass and gazing into the blue skies.
Never thought the world would pass by so quickly...

I, too, know what it's like to lose someone dear to your heart. In January, my Virginia grandmother passed away. She wasn't related, but we visited her every Sunday after church and we loved her very much. I was in college when I received the news, so I couldn't fly out there with my parents for the service. I miss her, but I know she's in a better place. I just want to let you know you and your family are being thought about and prayed for every day during this time in your life.
