I'm getting rusty... need practice to stay fresh...Anyway, here's a coloring I did of a lineart I found of Ino, pre-Naruto Shippuuden.

Practice eventually makes perfect. 
Actually, I think the simple shading is a nice touch- since it IS only a practice, it's good you didn't go overboard. In my opinion, the simplicity gives it character without overdoing it.
I absolutely love what you do with her eyes.
Otherwise, the skin tone is lovely, the highlights are done really well... and yeah.
For 'practice' you did pretty well. ;D

A lovely piece of fan art indeed!
The colours are very neat and hasn't spilled over at all. Perhaps a little more shading and gradient use on the colours (especially the hair and dress) would give the piece more depth and appeal! ^-^

Thanks. The artist drew her in such detail that Ino resembled a real person, so I went with these colors to make her seem more "real"; but on closer inspection more shading is needed in the future. Thanks. I'll keep it in mind for future pieces. ^^
