Description
My attempt at a Killer Instinct cast meme using characters from Mortal Kombat. These are more or less who I see as counterparts between the characters from both franchises.The cast:
- Black Orchid = Sonya Blade + Kitana - The main females of their respective franchises, Sonya and Orchid also have military backgrounds.
- Chief Thunder = Nightwolf - The token Native American fighters.
- Cinder = Scorpion - The fire guy.
- Glacius = Sub-Zero - The ice/liquid guy.
- Jago = Liu Kang + Kung Lao - The main heroes who are monks, Liu Kang and Jago also have close relationships with Kitana and Orchid (Kitana is Liu Kang's love interest while Orchid is Jago's sister). Of course, I also ship Liu Kang with Sonya, and I can see Kung Lao being like a brother to her, but that's besides the point.
- Riptor = Reptile - The reptilian creature.
- Sabrewulf = Baraka - The feral man-beast.
- TJ Combo = Jax + Johnny Cage - The more "normal" fighters, Combo and Jax are African-American fighters who used cybernetic implants. Combo and Cage are also celebrities (Combo is a champion boxer while Cage is a film actor).
- Spinal = Ermac - The reanimated fighter comprised of many dead souls.
- Fulgore = Sektor + Kano - The deadly cyborgs, or at least fighters who are cybernetically enhanced (in Kano's case).
- Eyedol = Goro - The towering monsters with multiple limbs (Goro has four arms while Eyedol has two heads).
