My latest drawing of Liu Kang x Sonya Blade. This time, it's them as they were depicted in the terrible sequel Mortal Kombat: Annihilation.

Yes, the movie sucked and it's a massive step down from the 1995 klassic (hell, I'd even take Street Fighter with Jean-Claude Van Damme, and the 90s Super Mario Bros. movie over Annihilation), but it does at least have a few merits.

I do feel Sandra Hess was a decent Sonya with what she had to work with (much better than Ronda Rousey in MK11, and that's saying something). It also helps she became great friends with Robin Shou (Liu Kang), which further adds to why I ship the two.
