Yes they are wearing each other's colors

Lana is of course the protective older sister to Kealani though being Lana this can get a little murky

As an example when he was first born Lana went and took him out of the house at only a week old to go see Heat and Kixx's family. Heat called Angel and she was sat down and lectured over it but only slightly changed the places she'd take him afterwards

Kealani is close with Lilo and Ani and is considered a little odd by experiment members of his family for being quiet and laidback, something that tends to result in him hanging around Heat and Thresher since they have similar personalities. He has a friend group in early new 2-series experiments but for the most part likes to be on his own and stay home (usually painting, reading or playing videogames)

He also takes music lessons from Flute; both of them have forms of synesthesia, so she tries and helps him manage it when she can

Lana by contrast is always out of the house and surrounded by friends, some of whom she's tried to push onto Kealani in the hopes he'll come out of his shell more often (this fails, he never does); of her friends he does like Minerva the most, but also finds her kind of scary (at least in his younger years)

When not out with friends/at home the two get along fairly well with each other; Lana will take Kealani on hikes around the local trails and sit with him while he paints. She's gotten in trouble for nearly giving him an Internet addiction thanks to how curious he is, but he quickly settled into the new rules that came with once it was discovered she was taking him around both the Earth and Galactic net

The one thing they both enjoy is the ocean, in fact it was Lana who helped teach Kealani how to swim and got him used to the water; despite both sharing their parent's weakness to water they either are defiant of it (Lana) or simply don't care they have it at all (Kealani). This leads to them being adequate but reckless swimmers who will get into places they likely shouldn't

Minerva has had to fish both out of the water herself on several occasions where they saw something and took off right into the surf

Overall Kealani has the brain cell most of the time but the two of them are very prone to loosing it when together
