Yay!! First comic of CrystallicSky's A-Z Chack fic-- the Letter R!!I finished this much sooner than I thought I would since I should have gone to bed about 4 hours ago... sleep can wait for chack I guess.
Anyway- it took about 20 mins to draw the comic out, 5 min to scan it in and ~5 hours to color on photoshop. I tried to keep to the original style of the cartoon (cause I thought it would go faster if I did) and I wasn't able to stay totally true to that. I, unfortunately, have NO FREAKIN' CLUE how to shade smtg in the 'cartoony' style, so everything in this pic has subtle, life-like shading.
........... It was a ***** trying to put subtle shading on such round characters and my hand is killing me.
I hope that I'll be able to color the next comic sometime tomorrow and post in the next few days. Then smtg else'll be worked on and posted and yada-yada.....
I need to go collapse right now.

I was wondering... do you plan on doing "H is for Hospital"? 'Cause I have an idea for that one already. I just can't draw, is the problem.

It's a simple two panel comic!
First panel shows Jack sitting up in a hospital bed, wearing one of those flimsy little cloth gowns. He's staring down, with an expression of shock and awe and maybe a tiny hint of mwee, at the Chase-plushie he's holding.
The second panel shows a close-up of the tag he's holding (and obviously reading), and the words that Chase had written there. ^^
