And I agree about Hamuko being a weird name. And it's even worse when they said that they dubbed her as such because she was like Hamtaro. I was like.... "Are you serious...? PFFFFFT"
And I think fanart drawn in your own style is much better than ones drawn in the artist's style. I used to think otherwise but if you think about it, you're actually making the fanart more original by incorporating your personal style into it.

I call her Minako too, but i've seen alot of people calling her Hamuko as well... It's weird. It doesn't even sound like a real/proper name.

I think people are jelly that you can actually mimic other artist style because your just that good.....or maybe they think you don't have your own style at all which only means they haven't watched you for long >.>
Well in any case I think its best you do what you want and ignore those who complain about what you do to enjoy yourself >.> Self gratification is good once in a while too and LOL why am I preaching XD
