Epic? Not particularly . . . .I've been painting more lately, and on a whim decided to paint some Harry potter stuff. It's been quite awhile sicne I've done HP art!
To think that a little over two years ago I couldn't stand any part of this franchise . . .. my, how things change when you need something to read!
About the painting . . .
1. Sorry for the quality--I took a photo of it to preserve the original colors and the size , but since it's a photo you can see shadows around the edges >_<;
2. I didn't really base the characters off of their movie counterparts. Clockwise from the top, we have Dumbledore (I love drawing Dumbledore), Snape (easy as hell to draw), Hermione (bit of a mess-up with my masking fluid on her hair), Ron (looking very adult?), Ginny (also looking older . . .), Draco (complete with Sectum Sempra marks and real oozing blood! Buy now!), Sirius (he'll peek out of that veil any minute now, won't he?), random death eaters (at least that's what they're supposed to be . . .), The Ugliest Voldemort You've Ever Seen(TM), and Harry. Shirt coming off. 9_9;
3. As mentioned before, I used some masking fluid on this painting--first time using it. Man, the stuff I got was so thick and gummy! I ended up painting over some of the white parts to make it blend in some more . . . Voldemort's eye shinies are the result of over-zealous masking
4. I used some colored pencils at the end to splash some color on there!
That's about it. I don't feel like it's my BEST work, but, hey, I say that about a lot of my stuff.

^^ It is excellent. I don't see any problems (And me being a artist myself ^^) The quality is fine, the colors are great, the characters looks great, and I love the poses they are in.

really great composition! the masking fluid really adds a cool-ness factor to it. i love the shading on voldemorts hood, dumbledores hat, and snapes hair. its fabulous!!
