This was my husband's idea. He said, 'why not do more Twilight art for the convention?' And suggested a little bit of a humorous slant . . .
Do NOT complain about this! I know a lot of Twilight fans would be upset at the prospect of Spike munching on a Cullen (people have already drawn stuff involving them before). I know a lot of anti-Twilight kids may be over-zealous with the 'YEAH, SHOW THAT DAZZLING IDIOT WHAT A REAL VAMPIRE IS LIKE!!'
I am not setting out to start anything. I just wanted to draw something that would (hopefully) appeal to both sides. I've seen Buffy, and I've read most of the Twilight series (stopped 3/4 through Breaking Dawn because I am lazy and wanted to read other stuff). Let's not get in a huff.

You know, I'm usually not a big fan of Spike - however entertaining his dialogue might be.... but in this case, I hope he shows Glitterball just how he got his nomme de guerre.

Ahh, I love seeing art like this...I remember when real vampires were named Spike and didn't run around sparkling through forests like Faeries....When they burst into flames in sunlight and feared the Slayer...those were the days....I love this picture, very well done
