Yes I did a Zeta Toys version of Air Raid based off of a reference. I've been looking at the toys more lately for reference because they have more detail than the G1 cartoon versions.

Also trying to keep it fresh!

Yknow that's incredibly fair? A physical toy is usually way better for reference than attempting to find JUST the right angle in a screenshot from the show. Trying to draw these dudes is ridiculous sometimes when all you have to go off of is their animation model.

Air Raid is, coincidentally! He's just a ball of fun and I love his black alt mode What about yours?

Yeah the Transformers toy market is crazy awesome. I like a lot of the non Hasbro stuff too (3rd party). All the creativity that Hasbro doesn't have is there! It's kind of my dream to have my art featured on a non Hasbro toy box, haha!

Air Raid is hot, yes! I think I like Air Raid and Sky Dive about the same I think!

Last two? *cough* I hope to do them! But I might do some other combiner characters first! Instagram makes me want to do things in 3s (because of the way they display images). Excuses excuses, haha!

You're welcome! Actually I saw them on my personal Instagram, which has nothing on it haha. I see a lot of Transformers stuff in my feed and I happened to see your work there. I've been thinking of making a new one just to follow artists and maybe post some art, so you may see me then! 

By last two I meant last two members of the team ahaha, sorry if that wasn't clear. Oh, no pressure dude! You do whatever you like. I'm more than happy to see other bots and cons get some fair share of lovin'. I have a soft spot for all combiners!

Yes I knew what you meant by last two, hehe! I do like Slingshot's bald orange head with sunglasses, it was a tossup to draw him or Skydive. I went with Skydive because he's more sleek (sorry Slingshot...). Fireflight is too similar to Airraid though that strawberry red jet mode is a beaut!

Combiners rock! Totally. My brothers and I got Devastator as kids -- I had the legs, my bro had the arms, and the other bro the torso. Teamwork doesn't get better than that!

Indeed. I'll get around to it eventually! In theory, maybe a few weeks from now. Haven't been able to do much art lately because I've been super busy but I really want to develop my gallery more. Holidays will be the perfect time for that.

HA! Me too! The poor guy is so misunderstood but I love his style and attitude. Probably had the most character development out of the bunch too. He seems to be the least liked by fans which makes him all the more intriguing to me. Skydive you can never go wrong with! He definitely deserves the attention. And as for Fireflight, I agree, the red is nice! I always wondered why people thought the F-4 Phantom II was ugly though.

Wow, that sounds awesome! Do you still have Devastator? I bet you had so many good memories! I don't own any of the 80s toys but I would like to one day. I was at a convention this year and saw the original Aerialbots mint-in-box. I was excited at first but then I saw the price, which was... unreasonable to say the least, heh.

Yes I still have Devastator! Yes there was one time I "borrowed" my brothers' Constructicons and played with them in the sandbox at school. Boy they were pissed! I'm surprised they didn't kill me.

Yeah those combiner boxes were super rare! I remember seeing them in stores when I was a kid (waaaaaaaaaaaaay back). If only I could go back and buy EVERYTHINGGGG, haha!

Nice! Haha, I know how it is when borrowing things from siblings. I used to try and steal my sister's Pokemon cards and she caught me every time.

Ahhh regrets! No one could have possibly known the value of them today. Or maybe some did considering there are still unopened ones floating around the internets. We need a time machine!

Awesome! Yes seriously my social media life has been so much better with Transformers! dA has always been the best place with the most positive people.

You know what else is good? Transformers facebook groups. My whole facebook feed is transformers toys and it's HEAVEN, haha!!

Yes!!! Totally the same on my end, except for twitter, where it's still mostly comic book stuff but hell, I should just make the switch!

Yes, transformers make up a part of my soul for sure!

I always wanted to work for Hasbro but in a way, I discovered that working for the fans is way more fun! I work for us all to make us all feel a little better in this world!
