I can't remember how this story came about. I must've been on the bus or on the train, daydreaming about what went wrong with the animated TF movie.Gee, when have we heard that before?
No humor in this one. It's my version of Crime Noir TFs! lol
Skids was never one of my favorites. Not even close. But as I scanned the functions of all the Autobots in existence, his function "theoretician" seemed to fit the mold.
Rewind is an "archivist", so that fits as well.
And you bet, Skyfall character exists in TF lore, albeit as minor minor character. And his function? "Weapons engineer". Hehe. Perfect.
The 'sword' being Megatron's is actually based on the TFTM storyboards. It explicitly states that he detaches it from his leg.

I am loving that Autobot museum. 
I particularly like the panel of Skids where he's peering into the display glass. He just seems to be so full of an almost childlike curiosity that's rather charming. XD And I love your use of lighting, too!

Another person mentioned that Skids panel where he's peering into the glass. Glad you liked it! I felt the panel was kinda weird cuz it looks like Skids is holding his piss...LOL
Yeah the lighting -- I was supposed to do these comic pieces with minimal reflections/shading, but I accidentally did #1 that way, so I have to do them all that way....ugh...more time to get them done...

The drawings are good nice perspectives and colouring!
Most of all I enjoyed reading 1 & 2 you chose the characters well in this mini story.
I like your story explaination on where those 2 deadly weapons came from.
It always came to my mind that where did the light saber and lazer gun come from?
Also why was the lazer gun so strong to gun down Optimus Prime though I know the 1 reason was that it involved was they were killing off the 1984 toyline, but still why!

Yeah it was just ridiculous how those 2 weapons (and ALL Decepticon weapons) were so powerful. Optimus shot several Decepticons...who all walked away without a scratch.

I'm a tranformers beginner as you know but I def want to know what's going to happen next.
The colours scheme seems to be spot on and the way he's standing looking at the weapons in the 3rd cell form the end is great.

very interesting! nice work with the research, using Skids as the lead (makes you wonder what Skids theorizes about, eh?... here, Prime's death, haha... I also thought: if Skyfall exiled himself, then what would HotRod/Rodimus do, commit suicide?), and the creativity...
Meg's 'sword'... if you watch the Movie, you can see almost all of Meg's leg at that moment, and it really seems like he picked it up off the ground next to some rubble...

Yes, I love minor characters, and I actually hated Skids as a kid, but his minorness just appealed to me. And his function as well.
I watched the scene many times. He really does pick it up off the ground. But...the gun and the sword lying on the ground? I didn't like that, so I followed the storyboards, which explicitly says "Megatron getting up to his feet reaches for a dagger hidden on the side of his leg". It shows a compartment opening up on the back of his right leg.

Thanks, glad you like this story and where it's going. It was real hard deciding to do this one because it's going to be such a long road to finishing it (at least another 4 months). But the longer the road, the more satisfying the finish! Hope you join me!
